I'm a fully accredited celebrant with Humanists UK , one of the UK's most respected organisations for meaningful, non-religious ceremonies.

I've been a celebrant for over five years and have led hundreds of ceremonies in that time, from intimate elopements on Welsh mountainsides to full celebrations with everyone your couple has ever loved in the room.

I cap the number of weddings I take on each year deliberately, so every couple gets my full attention. I'd love to make sure yours is one of them.

From our very first conversation I listen without assumptions, use gender-affirming and neutral language as standard, and shape your ceremony around you two and what’s important to you - not someone else's idea of what a wedding should look like.

This is me

I'm a full-time celebrant based in Conwy, North Wales. I’ve spent twenty years with the man of my dreams, who makes me laugh and makes a good brew, and knows the secret to a good marriage is keeping his wife well fed. I’m mum to two massive sons, who are hilarious and significantly cooler than me. I have objectively the best dog in the world, I’m learning welsh (badly), lift heavy weights (occasionally) and my happy place is in the pub with a massive pint in my hands.

When it comes to weddings, I love working with couples who trust that I get it. The ones that are ready to bin the traditions that don’t work and make new ones. I love going to loads of weddings.

And I love that this is my job.

  • In-depth planning meeting, online or in person locally. Brunch? Pub?
  • Regular check-ins in the lead-up, however you prefer to communicate
  • Full support designing your vows, privately if you want to keep them a surprise
  • A fully bespoke ceremony. No templates!
  • Flexible process to suit your personality or neurodivergence

The Legal Bit

In England and Wales, celebrant weddings aren't yet legally binding on their own, which means you'll need a separate, short approintment at your local register office to make it official. Most couples do this with just them and two witnesses. It costs around £54.

The good news: this is changing. The UK Government has confirmed that humanist weddings will become legally recognised in England and Wales following the examples of Scotland in 2005 and Northern Ireland in 2018. When that happens, a Humanists UK-accredited celebrant like me will be able to marry you properly, in one ceremony, wherever you choose.
