Hello! I’m Kate Rostance (she/her), and I’m a full-time wedding and funeral celebrant working across North Wales and Cheshire. I am trained and accredited by Humanists UK.

I create wedding ceremonies that are deeply joyful, relaxed and fun. My funeral ceremonies are modern life celebrations with warmth, honesty and love.

My ceremonies are experiences built on connection, storytelling, authenticity and meaning - uplifting, inclusive and crafted so they feel completely true to you. Whether you're reimagining traditions or planning something completely non-traditional, I'll work with you to create something unforgettable.

PLANNING A WEDDING?ARRANGING A FUNERAL?
Zero cringe, maximum joy

Tie the knot without the tired clichés

Let me guess. You know a religious ceremony isn’t for you, and a registrar ceremony feels underwhelming – so you’ve decided there must be another way.

If you’re dreaming of a wedding that’s fun, relaxed and totally authentic to you and the love you’ve found, you’re in the right place.

I only work with a limited number of couples each year so I can really get to know you and what matters most – and together we’ll create a ceremony that ticks all the boxes (even the ones you didn’t know you had).

...And if you want to strip everything back and elope? I've got your back too.

Deeply personal, totally one of a kind

The best ceremony you've ever been to

It’s a massive privilege to be trusted on some of the most important days of people’s lives. Great wedding ceremonies and meaningful funerals aren’t just occasions to sit through – they can be transformative experiences, full of laughter, tears, and everything in between.

By taking the time to really get to know the people I work with, I create ceremonies that feel authentic, inclusive, and completely true to them. For me, that’s what being a celebrant is all about.

WARM & UPLIFTING CELEBRANT FUNERALS

Not just a wedding celebrant

Funerals can feel overwhelming, and planning a meaningful farewell is one of the last things you can do  – for your person, and for everyone they’ve left behind.

Families choose me because they want someone to walk through the process with them. I take the time to understand the person who has died, your family dynamics, and what’s needed to say goodbye in a way that feels true. That looks different for everyone, but together we can create a ceremony that feels welcoming, inclusive, and deeply personal.

Every funeral ceremony I write is crafted from scratch, and I limit the number of funerals I take on each month, so every family receives my full care and attention – and every life is honoured with the respect it deserves.
